Joy of the World

Here is our family’s second mini-advent audio devotional. Enjoy. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Eve! How is it that we are so set to the tune of joy this time of year? It is quite strange, if you think about it. Even at a time when things seems the darkest or most solemn, a serious joy comes beaming out of nowhere or so we think.
The angels heralded the Good News of Jesus to the parents Jesus and John the Baptist. This shows us how much activity had been going on in that extended 400 (or so) year period between the testaments.

If this Christmas Eve is cold and silent for you or someone you know, rest assured God is working and moving ways we can’t see. He is ever present, especially in these times. He came here to fulfill His plan of salvation and he is still breaking into to out lives, seeking and saving.

So I’m here to tell you that the kingdom of heaven has come near to you. The kingdom of heaven is at hand! Let that be a beautiful sound to your ears. The promised one had been sent. Jesus has come. He is here. Jesus: the sent one is here and he is for you.

    1. I would love to be a part of Christian Blessings. Since you mentioned family oriented writing, I would love to do at least a weekly blog on these subjects. Is that OK? Feel free to share any previous posts or any in the future as well. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
